MSSRA Fall 2011 Singles Squash League

Dates:               Tuesday nights. September 20^th to November 1^st

Deadline:          Wednesday, September 14^th

Location:           Meadow Mill Athletic Club        (410-235-7000) www.meadowmill.com

Divisions:          5.0/A   4.0/B    3.5/C    3.0/D      –       Teams may be Coed

Divisions will be contested on Tuesday evenings starting at 5:45 PM and conclude before 9:00 PM.  Times will be determined based on number of participants of teams. 

Roster size:       All levels will have a minimum of four (4) players and a maximum of seven (7).  

Competition:      Four (4) players will need to play to contest a match.  The winning team will be determined by match score.  Match ties (2-2) will be determined in the following manner:  most games won, fewest games lost, most points won, fewest points lost.

Entry Fee:         The fee is $200 per team and will cover five (5) entries.  Additional players (above 5) may be on roster for $40 per person.  A team check is due on the first night of play. 

Membership:     Players must be current US/MSSRA squash members.  Go to www.MSSRA.org to sign up

Signup:              Players must sign up as part of a complete team.  Please contact one of the league administrators if you are interested in playing and need help finding additional players. 

Captains:           All teams must have a captain who is the contact person for all matters relating to the league.  Captains are responsible for participation by team members and for entering match results.  

Favor:               All participants will receive a league favor at the league-ending party on Tuesday, November 1^st

Scoring:            PAR 11 scoring will be used and best three out of five games per match. 

Refereeing:       “Home” teams will referee even matches and “visiting” team will mark, for odd matches roles reverse.
